HOW TO CHECK YOUR JAMB POSTING
When jamb admission list is been released joint admission and
matriculation board portal will come on live so that candidates can
check were they have been posted for admission consideration for the year 2017 admission.
Although it was said some years back (2015) that jamb should not post students into any university they didn’t take as their choice of institution when they register for the utme examination, but it seems they didn’t take that up because they have started posting students into universities they didn’t apply for as at 2016, when the jamb admission posting is out jamb recommendation portal will be activated so that candidates can check were they have been posted for 2017/18 undergraduate admission list
HOW TO CHECK WERE YOU HAVE BEEN POSTED FOR ADMISSION
The following is a step by step procedure for checking online where you a Jambite is posted to for admission
1) Visit the jamb recommendation status checking portal
2) Enter your registration number in the space provide
3) Then lastly you will click were you have been posted for admission button to ascertain your status.
NOTE: if you are posted into any university or institution for admission consideration then you need to wait for the school to release their own admission list because sometimes your name will appear on the jamb posting portal but won’t be on the school list , as at now its is not certain if universities will conduct post utme tests so you should be prepared in advance . if you attain the minimum cut-off mark and other requirements of your institution of choice that is the school you chose during your jamb registration,, you still have the right to apply for their screening exercise irrespective of your consideration status, i.e. whether you are posted to any other university or not. Been posted does not mean u gain automatic admission it is just a formality
